Sometimes you need to just unplug,
                                                   From it ALL.
                                                                  When?
                                                                         That is you Call!

Preparing for the Rama Celebration took weeks and weeks, for a lot of people. For me, it was about the auction, and the presentation package, including the picture.

You might think that when you work for Dharma -- things go easily, you are just guided by the enlightened team who exist allwhere. And you know what, sometimes it goes that way.

And yet, you can COUNT on some pretty major road blocks. If you have been involved in preparing for any such an event, you have learned that you might encounter some real "energetic" hits. Some oh so high, some very painful.

Students who are beginning to help at such events need to be advised and prepared. For all possbilities.

The energy at any powerful event is intense, and can be overwhelming. It has to printout in your body, mind and spirit, somehow. It -- the power and energy that you absorb, could send you into something like bipolarism. (Is that a word?) Expect some confusion, it happens.

For me, the fall-out of the event was about "unplugging". (Just the opposite of the infamous Bob Dylan moment when he "plugged in" and his fans turned on him. That moment inspired Positively 4th Street.)

Anyway, when I sit to meditate now, before I do anything else, I unplug. I reach deep inside my solar plexis and pull out all of the lines. I unplug from everyone, everything, and I keep weeding that garden of connections when I feel thoughts approaching in meditation.

I sit as an island, alone in the ocean of infinite awareness!!

Unplugged. Even as a teacher, I sit unplugged. It is my understanding that this "wireless" model is more efficient and appropriate now, it is the UPgrade. Again, this is from my vantage point, see if it works for you. It might.

Remember when you used to have a cord attached to your telephone, and then you got that wonderful portable home phone. THEN, the cell phone, and wireless computer systems!

You might want to consider the new model. Not only do you push away thoughts, you pull out all connections to everything when you sit to meditate.

From a teacher's vantage point, you just go away. That is all there is to do. That is everything!!
