Looking into Eternity's Eyes

Sometimes you copy the highest of high
Thinking you know the how and the why
I see that you mean to offer the best
I feel your intention that is part of your quest.

Something is missing from your wanna be him
Its that love that he was - spilling over the brim
He saw and corrected with words harsh and clear
Filled with his limitless love - we could hear.

How can I tell you what you need to know?
Be still and listen to eternity's flow.
Look at your students, look into their eyes
There you will find a most delightful surprise.

Your teacher is there, looking into your eyes!
