January 14, 2005 Who needs spin doctors? We have our own internal personal mechanisms that twist us in and out of our selves. Thoughts are the fuel that drive us around and around our personal circles. Sometimes, way too often, a single thought can spin rapidly out of control. Maybe it is just another form of centrifugal force? Maybe our thoughts are just like the electrons that buzz at warp speed around the atom's nucleus. Chains of thoughts roll over each other, forming wheels inside wheels. They generate their own energy and speed off, journeying down and around miles and miles of the same old highway. Jump off of the old highway. There is a quiet place that is like floating down a wide river. Drift into a place where there are no highways filled with thinking, spinning, churning. Somewhere, not so far way there is an exit. It is actually an entrance into ecstasy. It is silence. It is light.
