February 20th , 2005 Any time Rama's Birthday comes into town on the wings of that powerful energy, shit happens. It is just a very intense time. Energy is energy, the more powerful, the more it impacts humans who tune in. Attending an event that is connected to enlighenment will put you into an energy vortex that has limitless possibilities. Sometimes, in the center of the event, you may seem scattered, rattled, confused. It could happen. Why not? Do you think that everything is filled with poise and "perfect presentation?" Let a few days go by, and begin to watch the fall out, and I am pretty sure you will be surprised. I always am, and this time is no exception. I have moved again into a new cycle. I have shifted. Powerful changes are possible, especially on this particular birthday---7 years have passed. My meditations are not the same, I am not the same. I will not teach in the same way, particularly as related to energetic relationships and connections. There's something akin to a new technology that is in place, and it is more efficient. Rama used to talk about lines connecting the student with the teacher. That is apparently obsolete, at least for me. The freedom *that*offers both student and teacher is awesome. While many students of Rama use the terms ST1 and ST2, I do not. I also have avoided referring to "my students". When referring to people who come to learn at Dharma Center the term 'students' works just fine, and removes some of the egocentric pitfalls that ownership of students imply. It is really pretty clean, and simple. It will work much better than the old system. It already does.
